Summary

Terez Paylor and Charles Robinson kick off this episode recapping Tuesday night's episode of Hard Knocks that saw little new insight or action aside from a beautiful in-person view of SoFi Stadium, the new $5 billion dollar home to the Rams and Chargers.Moving onto some very strange news in the continuation of the offseason's major storyline, the return to play amid a global pandemic -- a whopping 77 league-wide coronavirus tests were deemed to be false positives over the weekend. Though clubs and league executives can safely breathe a sigh of relief after this event, the guys explain why this situation is a good thing for overall league preparedness. (12:40)Additionally over the weekend, the Baltimore Ravens released All-Pro safety Earl Thomas after an altercation with a teammate. Charles & Terez explain why many teams will be reluctant to sign the star defender and why the Dallas Cowboys, who had long been linked with S Jamal Adams over the offseason, shouldn't be perceived as the odds-on favorite to land Thomas. (19:45)Staying in Dallas, owner Jerry Jones made comments on Tuesday outlining the team's "new" policy for how they would handle national anthem protests...except for the new policy isn't new at all. The guys explain why Jerry and other hardline owners against players kneeling for the anthem would be better suited just letting the players do what they want. (35:00)Later, Terez & Charles talk about Roger Goodell's appearance on Emmanuel Acho's "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man," (41:30) before wrapping up the show with a little fantasy talk about the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.
