Hey, hello, it is the Goberts Podcast, presented by Parks and Sportsbook and casino. And that sucked.

I mean, man, what a way to start the season. We are all so concerned about the Eagles starting out hot, you know, coming out slow in all these games.

And that's the thing. And then they come out and they crush it for almost two full quarters. And then at the end of the second quarter they fall apart and it just carries throughout the rest.

The game and they lose the game. Man, they lose to Washington. Like, ah, man, we'll get to what it was like in the stadium.

It was down there. We'll get to the nitty gritty of everything. But man, just on a general sense, you walk out of that stadium feeling what?

Well, so it's funny. When we first got the new theme song, I remember thinking, wow, it's super upbeat and awesome. Like this will be great.

And I think like, hmm, you know, after losses, hearing that very upbeat start to the pod might not rub people something the right way.

And I honestly can't think of a worst game to start the season with. I mean, it was like, oh man, especially with considering the opponent too.

Well, and I think, well, I look, I've said a week that I thought Washington was better than other people. So I can't really kill them too hard for losing to Washington. I mean, Washington's not a great team.

But again, I think Washington has some real like talent on that roster. I think they're going to end up winning more games than we think. But when they were up 17, nothing. I was thinking like, all right, they're rolling. I mean, we talked on Gourbridge radio about how they need to come out and make a statement how they need to not fall behind like they so often have.

And they were clicking on all cylinders. Like, I mean, I know the defense isn't going to be the story of the week. But the defense was awesome. I thought all day. I mean, they really, particularly early, they had some lapses, especially at the end of the second, you know, second quarter and a couple spots. But this, obviously, this loss is on the defense.
