It came to an end on Friday night with, look, I'm going to talk about this for a second.

2:00.9

Like, I'm just going to breeze past the outcome of this game. I thought a great performance by the Eagles on Friday night. Now, we're going to talk about some of the negatives, right? Like, I thought certain units didn't play well. But, like, they went out, and after a really, really bad performance in the second preseason game where they only had 88 yards of offense, they had more than that at hal half time. And so in a game where I thought it would be easy to completely just check out, just trust me, the environment certainly felt like one where people were checking out. Like I get it, go enjoy your Friday night. But I thought that after I kind of crushed them for the second preseason game where it's like, it's a sign that things aren't going well. It's a sign that people aren't listening. It's just like you just don't want to ever play that poorly. I thought this was a positive sign. Friday night beating the Jets handily. I thought it was a good indication that the mistakes they made in the second game, they corrected them, the players listens, the coaches got through on the mistakes. They looked like a cleaner team. They looked like a crisper team. There weren't as many mistakes. The offense was clicking. The defense was much better. I get it. It's a preseason game. And last year, the Eagles won the Super Bowl and they lost the final preseason game by 23 points. So I'm not sitting here saying it's changing my outlook on the season. But Nick

Siriani has said that like preseason games and training camp are for getting crisp and forgetting

details down. And I thought they looked like a crisper team. They looked like a better prepared team.

2:27.2

And I thought it was a good showing from the Eagles on Friday night. So if you stayed in, you watch

the game, they performed well for you. And again,

2:35.0

like, I think that matters. I think anytime they play, how they play matters, and it was a much,

2:39.8

much better showing in this third preseason game than it was in the second one. So I thought that was,

2:45.3

that was a good showing. Now, I'll also say that, you know, like, thank God this game is over.

2:53.0

I have long defended training camp and preseason.

2:58.5

I still firmly believe it with training camp.
