Edge, pass rusher, Zadarius Smith. Zadarius Smith signs a one-year deal worth up to $9 million according to your reports. My guess is there's plenty of incentives in that deal,

and it's probably not close to $9 million. But regardless, they add Zadarius Smith. They place

Ben Van Summerin on IR. Very unfortunate. Obviously, we all saw him go down on Thursday night.

It was pretty clear right away that he knew it was serious. Second season ending injury in a row.

Hopefully he's able to recover and get his career back on track

because he was really starting to put together a career for himself.

But this is not the Ben Van Zuman Emergency Pod.

This is the Zadarius Smith pod.

So Zadarius Smith, for those that are maybe not as informed about him, he is 32 years old.

He has played 140 games in the NFL, 69 career sacks.

He's played for a few teams last year.

He's actually somebody that we talked about as a potential trade target at one point, but

played with Cleveland for nine games, gets traded to Detroit for the final eight games, but

finishes with nine sacks over those two teams in 17 games. Nine sacks, nothing to sneeze at,
