Inside the Birds is back.

What's going on, everybody.

Jeff Mosher, Adam Kaplan here for an Inside the Birds.

And it's been a little bit since we've talked,

probably since you heard us on the Inside the Birds post game show.

But wow, the Eagles were at one point, four and O, now four and two coming off two losses

in a span of four days, the Denver Broncos, and then Adam, the New York Giants.

We've had a couple of days here to kind of process everything it

feels like it's been a long time probably since 2003 where the Eagles had a loss against a team

that not only they shouldn't have lost to based on just how good your roster is in comparison but by a

deficit that big yeah and it's funny.

If you look at social media and all sorts of TV networks and they're running all

the scatabow big runs in the game, knocking over the Eagles defense, acting like the Eagles were like the second division team. It's actually kind of funny how badly people are killing the Eagles nationally. Oh, they're not calling them frauds, but saying, okay, they're not as good as we thought they were. In fact, they're not very good and all this stuff. It's kind of, it's, I was surprised, like, man, people are really killing the Eagles. Okay, you're right.

Look, in terms of, yeah, the Eagles got taken to the woodshed. They played poorly. This is sort of a manifestation of what's happened lately with this team, not playing well on the other side of the football. I mean, when you talk about the best part of the team now is the kicker and the punter, that's not very good. You shouldn't be saying that, but it is the truth right now. No, you're right. And I think what happens is people take their shots when they can. You know, the Eagles are really vulnerable right now. Obviously, you lose to the Giants by 17 points. And you're the Eagles, and everybody expects that. And you can now see there are dents in the armor. They look more human.

To be fair and objective, they don't look like the best team in the NFC at the moment.

You know, we'll talk about some of that as the week goes on because there are games left.

But yeah, they don't look like the best team in the NFC. And that's sort of shocking because

they started off 4 and oh. And even though that

there were deficiencies that were glaring, they were still winning the way championship teams do,

which is finding a way in the fourth quarter to pull it out either way. But now these two wins are

humbling. And what we're going to do in this podcast is we're going to go through the injury

situation. We're going to go through the self-scouting that the Eagles should have been doing

...
