Next week's free agency but it's been a pretty busy few days with guys getting caught

around the league some familiar names some big names it's an interesting time and the teams that haven't handled the cap well are paying for it right now having to cut players that are still really good.

Yeah, it is always fascinating to see that happen.

Yeah and fortunately the Eagles are in that position to where they have to cut good players they don't have that many good players no I'm just

kidding but you know how he how he does a good job handling that stuff.

And there, I don't really recall a time where he's had to cut a player for purely cap reasons. I'm sure it's happened, but it's rare around here. So it's,

it's certainly a plus. It is. and I've always been told that the term cap casualty

I remember having an agent yell at me one time and he said there's no such thing as a cap

casualty if you're good enough to find a way to keep you. And he said, there's no such thing as a cap casualty.

If you're good enough, they'll find a way to keep you.

Part of that's true, but the cap is real and teams that you're right,

like we're watching what's happening with the bills right now.

They're cutting players that they'd probably rather keep.

Yeah, so and I think in some of these cases, certainly with the bills and quite possibly

with like a guy like Avante Maddox who will get to,

guys can come back. You know, guys can see what's out there and find out that the

best situation for them is here at a lower salary and come back to their

teams.
