Hey everyone. This is Eagles Beat reporter Chris Franklin from NJ Advanced Media, and this is your latest update from the No Huddle Show podcast.

The Eagles are preparing for Sunday's season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.

The game will mark the beginning of the Nick Siriani era in Eagles history, as well as the debut of highly talented rookie wide receiver Devonza Smith.

Right guard Brandon Brooks was a surprise addition to the injury report Wednesday.

Brooks was limited in practice with a knee issue.

A person with knowledge of the situation said it was a precautionary measure.

Brooks is looking to play in his first game since missing the entire 2020 season with an Achilles

injury.

Tight-in Dallas-Gaudert said that he and the Eagles have not yet reached a deal

on a contract extension. Goddard, who is playing on the final year of his rookie deal, said that he

is letting his agents work out the situation and does not foresee it becoming a distraction during

the season. Appearing on the WIP Morning Show Wednesday, General Manager Howie Roseman said

that he tentatively sees Goddard

in the team's long-term plans. During the same appearance, Roseman said that if he had to do it all

over again, he would still select Jalen Hertz in the second round of last year's draft.
