They wrap up the 2025 campaign with a 5 and 12 record, the inverse of last year's 12 and 5.

The players and the coaches don't care about draft position. Players probably won't be here. Coaches want to win games. I'm still shocked at how uninterested Philly was in getting the two seed.

I'd much rather play the Packers than the Rans and the opportunity to host back-to-back

playoff games. But regardless, you know, Washington, this was not a pretty game. They're not

going to talk about this one in Canton many years from now. But credit to Josh Johnson, you know,

pretty good with the football, had the pick, had the fumble. Washington did enough. They ran the

hell out of the football, even if it wasn't all that successful. Defensively, they did enough.

Eagles fans that were really excited about Tanner McKee. I imagine that ship has sailed.

They won the game. It looked like they were

going to get the fifth pick. They end up going to seventh. I'm sure we can look at the draft value

chart for how significantly different five to seven is. I doubt it's that significantly different.

I don't know. Listen, I would have loved to have seen them come out and lose this game, basically because they couldn't win games when they needed to.

The breaks they got with the Giants and the Browns winning.

Both doing.

But as we sit here and talk about this win, this 24-17 win, and I just think about the last time we were here at the link.

NFC championship game, you and I were talking to Pete Davidson here in the postgame.

Obviously, it was a disappointing game then.

But the feel of this season is just, it's obviously been a super tough season and frustrating

and annoying and, you know, all those different things.

Maybe come April I'm going to be, you know, upset about seven versus five. But we talked to Josh Johnson, you and I were basically the two folks in the post-game presser. You could see how much it meant to him. He talked about his family being here, his wife, his kids. You know, they were probably too young to see him when he was, you know, a better quarterbacker playing more. In 2018.

Right. And now, you know, they get to see him go out there and win the football game.
