Hi folks, Eagles Beat reporter Mike Kay here from NJ Advanced Media and and this is your latest update from the No Huddle Show podcast.

The Eagles are looking for their third head coach in eight years. The Eagles parted ways with Doug Peterson on Monday. The head coach was coming off a 4-11-1 season. During its time with the Eagles, Peterson won 46 games, including the playoffs, two division

titles, and the team's only Super Bowl. Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said he and Doug Peterson

had different visions for the team moving forward. The Eagles will interview running backs coach

De Staley as part of their head coaching search this off season. Staley played seven seasons with the Eagles and returned to the

organization as a member of the coaching staff in 2011. The Eagles haven't had a black head coach

offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator in over 20 years. Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie says

that will be top of mind during this search. According to Sports Illustrated, the Eagles have already reached out to Oklahoma's

Lincoln Riley for their head coaching search. Riley coached Eagles QB Jalen Hertz during the 2019

season. Following the quarterback's transfer from Alabama, Riley has a good relationship with

general manager, Howie Roseman. The Eagles will likely expand their search beyond Lincoln Riley and do Staley.
