Hi folks, Eagles Beat reporter Mike Kay here from NJ Advanced Media and this is your latest update from the No Huddle Show podcast.

The Eagles won't be headed to the playoffs. Following their 37 to 17 loss to Dallas on Sunday, the Eagles were officially eliminated from NFC East contention.

The Eagles are currently in last place in the division heading into their final game of the season.

The NFL has flexed the Eagles' week 17 matchup against Washington to Sunday night football.

The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday. However, Washington has the NFC East

title on the line. With a win over the Eagles, Washington will head to the postseason.

The Eagles can play spoiler, though, as a loss

for Washington would send either the Giants or the Cowboys to the playoffs. Rookie QB, Jalen Hertz,

will make his fourth start against Washington. Doug Peterson anointed Hertz is his starting

quarterback for the season finale on Monday. Peterson wants to see how Hertz responds to the loss

against Dallas. He also wants to evaluate how Hertz responds to the loss against Dallas.
