Now we're in the grind group. It's every day.

Cadz are on. It's a real training camp now.

It's not a grind, Dave. You're down there at 6 a.m. waiting for it to start taking

attendance you know making sure everybody arrives on time so I don't want to hear

about this grind stuff it's you, you know, it's one practice,

it's over around noon.

I'll tell you about a grind.

1988 was a grind, that was two practices a day for three hours. We

didn't get out of there till midnight. It says, well it's as big of a grind as the

current collective bargaining agreement allows.

That's definitely true.

But it's fun.

The pads came on Tuesday.

They were in full pads for the first time in training camp, which is a pretty significant day in the life of a training camp because before then it's not that you're not gaining a lot of knowledge about the team, but I think you start to learn a lot more when guys can actually hit each other. I think you start to see some guys separate even though that process is already underway and we're going to talk about one of those positions in just a minute the left tackle spot.
