Eagle Crest Camp and Retreat Center (A Ministry of the Salvation Army) is located in rural Washburn IL, along the hilly bluffs of the Illinois River. Eagle Crest is easily accessible by car, about a 30 min drive from Washington IL or Peoria. The address is 823 Columbia Rd, Washburn IL 61570.

0:07.0	It is July 22nd, 2019. This episode is all about the upcoming Eagle Crest Retreat in, well, it's the end of October.
0:21.4	And so if you are not interested in the retreat then you can listen to last week's

0:38.0	this is the retreat that is close to my home. It is held at the Eagle Crest Camp and Retreat Center, which is a
0:45.8	Ministry of the Salvation Army. The dates are October 30th to November 2nd. That's a Wednesday afternoon until Saturday morning. This is an all-inclusive
1:00.5	retreat. So you get all your meals, your overnights, and it's very relaxed. This is the
1:09.8	smallest retreat that I have. Last year, we had about 30 people.
1:15.0	The retreat center is close to the Illinois River.
1:20.0	It's a beautiful area.
1:22.0	Last year, in previous years years it was a little later in the
1:26.3	fall, but I moved it forward because we usually have better weather and you can still see some fall color at the end of October,
1:36.4	whereas the second week in November, it's pretty much gone for the most part the actual time to check in is 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday October 30th and then you can check out of your room by 10 a.m. on Saturday. There's not a big rush to get out of there completely so if you
1:56.5	have a flight later in the day you want to just stay for a little longer we can usually
