There was someone who would ask me to lunch.

He would never ask anything about me.

The second I got there, he would say,

hey, I've already looked at the menu.

Are you ready or can we go ahead and order?

Because I've got an hour.

And so after the maybe fourth, fifth time,

I was at the end of the conversation asking God,

should I say something?

And I sense God say, no. But next time he asked,

have a conversation in love. I get the email. And I said, hey, can you call me? I'd love to talk for a

second. I said, listen, I'm totally open to going to lunch with you. And we can schedule that.

I want to spend a whole hour talking to you about your effect on me.

There's just silence and I haven't seen him since.
