While the war between Israel and Hamas is still underway, I sit down with an emergency responder who was on the ground in Israel during the October 7th invasion. Tomer Peretz, a native Israeli and LA-based artist, shares a detailed account of his experience volunteering with Zaka to recover the bodies of the victims of the massacre, immediately after the deadly attacks. He also provides his unique perspective of the Israel/Gaza War, discussing some of the misconceptions that Westerners may have about the conflict.

1:06.8	And Tomer Perez was one of the first responders with Zaka a volunteer organization to find the bodies of the dead in the massacre, both the
