Summary

Being authentic means not filtering, or watering down, your message. Some listeners may not like this, and that’s ok. You can’t please everyone. But after some harsh reviews on a specific episode, Lindsay and I become water. Water is weak. It has no back bone or spine and goes where it is guided. Rather than staying authentic and true to ourselves, we almost follow the path demanded by others. But don’t worry, those episodes are in the trash and no one will ever hear that garbage.

0:15.0	So I have a confession to make right now on air. This confession isn't going to be earth shattering to some of you.
0:25.5	Most of you admittedly may not even care. But I do. See Lindsay and I have been
0:31.9	recording podcast together now for multitude of different weeks.
0:35.6	We should be, for all intents purposes, on week five, I believe, with the number of podcasts
0:40.0	we've recorded.
0:41.3	However, we're not on week five. We're still struggling to get
0:46.6	week two done. And we're struggling to get week two done because we have turned
0:51.5	into water and let me explain what I mean.
0:56.1	See part of recording these podcasts is sharing an unbridled unfiltered
1:00.6	unfiltered truth. The truth of my life is not always
1:04.7	fucking convenient. It impacts people. My truth is just that it's mine. It's
1:12.2	things that I've done that I am not necessarily proud of,
1:17.4	that I have to take action on and have taken action on to change my outcome. I shared the lies, the cheating, the
1:26.3	infidelity, the repossessions, the failed businesses, the list goes on and on.
1:30.4	This is episode number 76 as I recorded. So for the better part of
1:36.6	two and a half months I have shared day by day my own little life lessons.
1:47.4	And the neat part about sharing a life lesson
1:49.1	is it's just that.
1:49.8	It's my life's lesson.
1:52.4	It can't be your life lesson. It can't be Lindsay's life lesson. It can't be your life lesson.
