Hey everyone, welcome to the Lila Rose show.

I'm Lila Rose, and this week's episode is on something that I've gotten a lot of messages about,

emails about, and has quite frankly been in the news maybe more than almost any other issue or

at least it has been one of the top issues in the news everyone's talking

about it yes it's immigration. As most of you know, I spent a lot of my time on the issue of abortion. I did an episode on that recently.

There are of course other big issues out there, but I think it's fair to say that

people on both sides of the political aisle even people who are typically not

very political have been paying attention to and have been talking about or at least learning more about this issue.

And I am presenting this podcast episode because I feel very strongly that it's something that needs to be talked about in a

contextualized way, meaning it needs to be talked about in a holistic way,

because I've noticed that there is a lot of misunderstanding and

misunderstanding and disagreement and outright I think misinformation lies things being shared that are not true and extremes

extremes on both sides so what I'm hoping to do today, after a lot of research,

talking to people, getting some information from people that I consider experts or

specialists in this space, as well as just spending time over the last few years really researching this topic, to not present all the answers for the immigration crisis or conflict that we see in American politics today, but to present what I think are

some principles that we can agree on and then some public policy solutions that I think perhaps

we can also agree on.

Now, this is something that I hope is helpful for everyone,

whether you're coming at this already with strong position,

a strong position on this topic,

or do you have strong views, or you're coming at this out of
