What women used to be able to say before the pill came along was, oh but we can't because I don't want to get pregnant.

And then as soon as contraception came along, that was no longer a sort of last line of defense.

That was no longer an excuse available in a situation where a young man and young woman on a date

she doesn't want to say I don't want to have sex with you because I don't like you enough

or because I don't trust you or because I'm not sufficiently attracted to you is

that feeling of suddenly basically having

to have sex with men to be polite.

She has some different views on abortion and I think she's evolving on her views and
