But I guess we finally need to talk about how these shows are produced in the COVID-19 era.

I'm pretty sure most of you have already dealt with Zoom calls and the other conferencing software

online and how there's always weird delays and people ended up talking over each other

and how we've been fixing that is by doing lots of local recording at every end.

And that just fell apart completely in this episode.

So there's a lot of times where people are making jokes and other people are laughing

before the punch lines can be heard.

And in this case, I lost everything from our guest.

So I can only build the show from what I had from the original conference call.

So you're going to notice me funny or the normal because I am stealing lines from pen and our

guest, Chris Mathison, because I have no other way to put them in this show.

So if you hear me on this cheap iMac mic as opposed to the nice studio one,

you'll know it's not really me talking.
