For a long-time I was working myself into the ground not realizing the things I was missing out on. I was so focused on some mythical point in the future that I forgot to remain in the moment. And I fought back and forth of this for quite a while. When I say

that I realize that I want to work less hours. I want to enjoy more of life. I want to

spend time where it matters most. I want to travel more. I want to

be with my family more and be with my friends more. And none of it makes sense, right? Because

if you look at the Gary Visa of the world, if you look at so many entrepreneurs right now.

The name of the game currently is Hustle and Grind.

It's go out there, it's push, push, push, it's double down.

It's do everything you can to make certain that you are leaving it all on the table.

And while I believe there's some truth to that,

especially as you're building your empire,

I believe the idea of waiting until the future to leverage your success and to enjoy

the fruit of your labor is rather foolish.

Let me explain to you why. I mean have you ever thought about for just a minute

you're going to work your entire life to eventually retire and what do you do when you retire?

You travel, you spend money, you enjoy all that you've built.

And as you spend time and you enjoy all that you've built into retirement,

the question would ultimately be, well why did you wait until you were old and decrepit to actually pull that off?
