And it is harmful for your relationship. And when you fix it, it could absolutely be a game changer

and having a clearer relationship and expediting your dog training tremendously.

And today we're going to be talking about repeating commands and why dog owners do it without even realizing it and also why it's harmful

for your relationship coming from a dog trainer.

Let's do a stay command. Just walk. Yeah. As far as I can go here? Stay. Good. I'll stay. And just move away a little bit. Stay. Good stay. So you could tell him good stay instead of telling him to stay. Okay. And the reason is. Good. And he gets word, he knows word good. Yeah, so good stay. Good stay. So if he's doing the behavior and he's doing it well, we say good stay. If he's doing the behavior and he's doing it well and you tell him to do the behavior, he's going to be confused. Okay. See what I'm saying? So he's good stay. Yeah. Because if he's staying, staying and then he look at him and say stay, he's like, I am saying. But if you say good stay, it's reinforcing that he's doing good stay.

Okay, good stay.
