You know, if something was peanut free and it really wasn't, that would be a lawsuit.

If something was gluten free and it really wasn't, that would be an issue.

So when you tell people that you're force free and you're really not, you're just trying to put that on your advertising, on your card, or on your website.

And trust me, guys, working with as many

dog trainers as I have, there's a lot of people who just don't even know what that means.

They just kind of adopted it from somebody else because it sounds good and it helps them get

clients through the door. But when you market yourself as force free and you're not,

that's where I personally have an issue because you're lying to people who are trying to look for you as a professional for help.

especially people who own dogs, train dogs, love dogs, etc. So we're going to be talking about

positive reinforcement and the real big difference between positive reinforcement and

purely positive or purely reward-based

training. Now, most people don't know this. And being in the dog space for over a decade now,

I can tell you that a lot of people think that positive means rainbows, butterflies, happiness,

all the good stuff. And negative means kicking, shouting,

yelling, zapping, torching, all the bad stuff. And that is that is mongering and that is

misinformation. And it is something that dog owners unfortunately get tricked. I call it

marketing manipulation. so a lot of
