I'm with Natalia and Murak for everyone. Welcome to Walkins. Welcome. Thanks so much for having me.

You have a film out. It's premiering tonight in Austin. It will be out by the time. It's out, correct? Yes. And what, it's called 15 days. And give me just a little bit of context about why you made this film. We'll get into it. But I do want to

show everyone the trailers so we can talk about this film and what led you to becoming a film.

Did you start as a filmmaker? No. I had grand ambitions as an undergraduate, but I never

touched film really until now. Interesting. Okay. So, but film has always been my preferred media.

It was always aspirational. I just couldn't figure out how to get my foot in the door.

I did all sorts of little film jobs. I lived in L.A., but I just couldn't really break through,

and I wasn't sure where I belonged. And in 2020, when school shut down, I had two public school kids, a five-year-old and a nine-year-old,

and I saw how much they were suffering with the school closures. I started doing my own research,

saw that other countries had reopened schools uneventfully, and that the narrative were being fed

was just lies. And I helped organize an open schools movement

in New York City, keep NYC schools open,

because I thought that it was important

to advocate for everyone's kids, not just my own.

And the public school kids were being shut out

of everything, school, sports, socialization,

every developmental

milestone.

Yeah.

So this is kind of where it all originated through the advocacy.

And I was, you know, I was just propelled into action.
