And one of the first things I want to talk about is Molly and I both went to see Joe Biden's final rally, final appearance before the

Caucasus, which took place late in the afternoon on Sunday.

Mostly, I'm just glad I was able to witness this last rally.

There is no substitute for experiencing it personally.

We had had one of our reporters at the Federalist

had written about being at a Biden rally which had lacked enthusiasm

And I knew that that was what some of the reporting on the ground was, but to personally experience the lack of energy

and enthusiasm was worthwhile, which is not to say that it wasn't a well-attended rally.

It was in a middle school gymnasium that I think filled maybe it had 4 to 500 people there would you that was my guess

So there were a lot of people there a lot of union people, a nice variety of supporters.

But the comments from the speakers were telling, including that they seem to be trying to set expectations.
