Welcome. Very excited to talk to you. I wanted to have you on the show this week because

your substack, what are grown-ups for is relevant to pretty much everything we're living

through and everything we're up against. For those of you don't know, you should go check out

link in the description of this video. I find you to be brilliant. You have your finger on the

pulse of culture, faith, parenthood, maturity, femininity, so many feminism, politics, so much

of the stuff that we are all conversing about in the discourse.

So I'm excited to talk to you about how you got here, what your take is on everything.

I think as I talk to you today in this moment, what's very interesting to me is that the dynamic

of Erica Kirk is kind of where a lot of

these things that you write about are meeting. Tell us how a little bit about yourself and then,

you know, how you got into writing about all the, all this. Thank you so much, Bridget. It's

just so great to be here with you. I'm a long-time

reader and listener, so it's just such a pleasure to be here. You know, I actually started down

a pretty traditional academic path many moons ago and learned some life lessons along the way

related to some of the things I write about,

about why that wasn't going to work out for my other life plans and prospects.

But I got into writing through just kind of going freelance at it,

a Catholic magazine, American magazine.

About 7, 8 years ago, you know, a couple articles here and
