Welcome to the podcast, Nicole and Ron. I appreciate you guys having me on. And like I was saying

before we started is when I got the email to have you guys on, I was like, okay, this is a unique

dynamic. And so I'm excited to dive in. We always like to have on the podcast people who do all

sorts of fun stuff and with dogs, obviously. And so why don't you guys, instead of me

introducing you, want to you guys introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself.

That's good. Nicole, you want to start? Sure. So I'll tell you a little bit about how Ron and I

are connected and then I'll let him introduce himself.

But we have been best friends since eighth grade.

We both born and bred in New York City.

We went from eighth grade all the way through high school together.

I did all of our homework.

I'm definitely the smarter one.

That's the truth.

Um, there, there's no, there's no question there. Um, he may look a little better on paper to, to some people, you know, it depends what you're, um, I, uh, I'm a veterinarian. I'm a

veterinarian oncologist. I have spent the greater part of my career at the

Animal Medical Center in New York City. It's the largest nonprofit teaching hospital in the world.

I run the Cancer Institute, which is medical, surgical, and radiation oncology. I teach.

I see patients. I do translational research. And we just

started this amazing new company, pad, which we really want to talk about. Awesome. When you say

you teach, what do you, what kind of, like, what kind of teachings do you do right now?

So I teach interns, residents, vet students, anywhere from just general

veterinary medicine, but mostly veterinary oncology, which is my passion and my specialty.
