Welcome, thank you for coming through.

Thank you for having me. I'm so happy to finally meet you.

I know, likewise. Tell me about your organization.

I'm really excited to hear about this because I've seen kind of what you've been up to and

I know you've been fighting the good fight out there and I want to hear more about your organization,

what led you to this organization

and doing what you're doing, your history

and education in particular,

because I do think these are all kind of issues that are for someone like me who didn't have to care about them.

Now that I have a child, I'm like, oh shit, I've got to care about this stuff now.

Oh yeah and I remember same thing when my oldest I mean he's in college now but when he was

starting school same thing like suddenly these issues become important and things that you took for granted just

based on your own experience you discover like aren't really the case anymore or where you're

living currently. So I work at parents defending education Education. I'm the Director of Outreach there. We formed in March of 2021.

And we do a lot of things, but I would say the main goal is that we are trying to get political neutrality or as close to political neutrality back into classrooms.

What we have seen over the years and it was very accelerated in 2020

is ideology coming into schools,

coming into schools,

students speech being suppressed,

students speech being compelled.
