I wanted to embrace my heritage. That led me into wanting to embrace Judaism. However, in the middle of all the searching, I could not deny Christ. Those seems pretty in conflict. A practicing Jew today does not believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Correct. This is so embarrassing, but I'm gonna say this here with you. Sorry, you've never been asked that on a podcast yet.

I've never. And then I realized, wait a second, I'm looking only to these Christ denying rabbis. What did the early followers of Christ believe? Okay, I'm going to study the early church followers. St. Arenas, St. Polycarp, St. Clement of Rome. I noticed things that really stood out to me. Number one, they spoke in a language that made sense to me as a Jew because they didn't scrap the whole sacrificial system. They are saying, no, it's now continued and fulfilled in Christ. I started becoming enamored, and I'm like, I want this. There was one problem. Political Zionism is very complex, because what exactly do you mean? exactly do you mean? As much as you want to say it's political or religious, there's always going to be the religious undertone. In my heart, this sounds like the devil trying to buy me. I know this sounds really bad.
