Summary

Proliferated by social media, the hustle-grind mentality is rampant these days. I’m not against working hard. In fact, hard work is essential to reach any level of success. Overworking ourselves is a bit different. For so long I thought that in order to get to where I wanted to go, I had to literally work my face off. For a brief period of time, I’ll even say that it was true. Pretty soon I realized that I was working myself into the ground and that while I was working hard, it wasn’t efficient or sustainable. Today I’m going to explore the mindset needed to reach your goals.

0:55.0	And it got me thinking, especially over this weekend, what do these people have that I don't have? Do I want what they have?
1:05.0	And my answer was an astounding no.

1:12.6	see growing up in this world of the non-stop hustle, the consistent grind, the
1:18.3	you got 24 hours in a day, you might as well work 20 of them and only sleep four. I live that. That was my life. That was my life in two separate
1:29.2	seasons. One season was the automotive industry.
1:33.0	That was something where I was working bell to bell as we would call it, seven days a week,
1:38.0	typically at the office by nine, not leaving till nine at night.
1:42.0	So roughly mathematically, about 84 hours a week.
