Summary

On today's Bizzimumzi episode, Ashley is joined in conversation with Illiyin Morrison . Illy qualified as a Midwife in 2017 and went on to work at busy South London Hospital. Illy later went on to qualify as a Hypnobirthing teacher with Katherine Graves in 2018 and over the last two years has used her time to focus on adapting her teaching to what she believes is necessary for people to have a positive birth experience. More recently Illy undertook The Yesmum Hypnobirthing teacher training and will be using their syllabus. Illy has always had a passion for empowering women during pregnancy and childbirth. Iliyin shares in our Bizzimumzi chat that good antenatal education can really make a difference to the pregnancy and birth experience. In this episode of the Bizzimumzi podcast chat we discuss: * Coping while parenting solo * Normalising Mom Guilt * Helping couples navigate a healthy and happy birth experience. * Have those hard conversations with your partner so you feel heard and supported This Bizzimumzi episode is sponsored by Bumpdate. Bumpdate is transforming the way we embrace our pregnancies with the first-ever mobile app allowing close friends and families to support expecting parents while they share their expected due dates, pregnancy timelines, gift registry links, planned location of delivery, baby names or nicknames and genders, children’s birthdays and ages, and much more in a private, streamlined way. Unlike other apps with due date calculators, Bumpdate has an easy-to-read trimester meter and real-time pregnancy calculations by number of weeks and days. While the app predominantly targets pregnant women and parents, it’s also a way for family and friends to intimately follow along their journey and remember to check-in during milestone moments and events.
