Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Laila Rose show. We have a really important episode this week.

I'm so thankful for all of you who have been tuning into the podcast recently. It's been really

awesome and exhilarating to get back into podcasting and there's so much to talk about, so much to

discuss. So this week's episode a little bit of a trigger warning. So we will be discussing some

really important but challenging topics. It will be a discussion about sexual abuse as well as

forgiveness and healing. And so our amazing guest, Josanne Marielle, introduced her introduce her

in a moment will be sharing her story and her just how she overcame a lot of incredible hardships

in her life with the power of God's love and grace and mercy. So I share this because if you're

listening and you are listening with children, this might not be a good podcast to listen to with

kids in the car or if you are listening to this and you're wondering if you should share it with

a friend or somebody who's really young, I would say high school age on up would be the right age

for this podcast. I'm also going to be sharing some resources for those who are survivors of

sexual abuse or other people who are looking for healing. I will have some resources to connect with

in the podcast description. So without further ado, I'm so excited to welcome my friend,

Josanne Marie, under the podcast. I met Josanne about two years ago, maybe more than that now,

three years ago, through a mutual friend and I was just struck immediately. She's a very talented

beautiful person and she's a poet, she's an award-winning actress and she's also an author

and it was her book Beautiful after reading it that I really became acquainted with her story

and realized how incredibly important it was for people to know her story, how inspiring and

freeing could be. So I'm going to have Josanne on, she's going to be discussing that story and we're

going to be having an amazing conversation on not just sexual abuse, which is a crisis that affects
