of your business versus now and what has changed? First and foremost, in the beginning of my business,

I had no idea what nervous system regulation was. I didn't even know what the subconscious was.

I had no clue. If you were to ask me how I was regulating, I wasn't. Not at all. I don't even think

I knew what that was. I think I just felt so uncomfortable and my way of probably regulating

then was just to stay busy, just to go on to the next project. It was just to keep moving

so I wouldn't feel anything. And that is not how you actually process anything in your body.

And so now my process of regulation is massively different.

I will always take the lens of massive self-compassion and curiosity.

I always like to say that any time that we have an inner narrative or thoughts that

are bouncing around in our brains or anything like that, if it is pressurized, if it's this feeling of you have to, you should, you need to, if there's any thoughts that are bouncing around in our brains or anything like that. If it is pressurized, if it's this feeling of you have to, you should, you need to, if there's any thoughts that are unkind, let's just say, I want you to take that and I want you to put that voice into someone standing in front of you. And if someone was telling you, you should know better, you should be doing this, why aren't you there faster? What's wrong with you? You would probably feel a lot of embarrassment, you'd probably feel a lot of shame,

and the body would naturally begin to shut down and or retract, and the nervous system would

naturally go into some kind of response, whether that be fight, flight, fawn, or freeze.

Now when you take the lens of compassion and you put that inside of somebody speaking to you,

hey, you're good, you're fine, there's no rush, you're doing the best that you can.
