Last week, so one of our, a bishop emeritus of our diocese passed away on February 4th.

And, you know, I'll be honest.

He was a controversial figure.

I won't go too much into it, but it's just he was a controversial figure and those who

can Google things can Google things.

But anyways, but regardless, the dead are worthy of prayer.

Well, the bishop calls me up the day after Bishop Derrude dies and says, Harrison,

this is how my bishop thinks of talk.

He's kind of folksy this way.

He's kind of awesome.

But he goes, Harrison, I need you to emcee D'Rue's Mass, funeral Mass.

I'm like, okay.

He goes, you know how the cathedral works.

You know liturgy.

You're not crazy.

You could do this.

I'm like, sure.
