Today’s 15 minutes are about false idols.
Why do people become idols? Practice, practice, practice. You can’t become a master without hard work, dedication, and practice. When we look at people who are experts are what they do, it’s easy to assume that talent is the sole reason for success. We see the talent on display, but we often don’t see the hard work required to bring that process to light. Today I talk about how I discern good from bad when it comes to idols and people to look up to.

1:05.5 | that they're an expert right I mean they're pronouncing themselves or saying |
1:09.3 | they're an expert in the world and so I'm assuming they are I don't do a |
1:12.4 | whole lot of background checks on are I don't do a whole lot of background |
1:13.0 | checks on them I don't see their references you know I just assume that what they're |
1:16.6 | sharing with me has to be the best because people in my opinion inherently have |
1:20.4 | good intentions not bad but But through that it almost |
1:24.6 | morphed into the situation where I start wondering am I chasing a false |
