Today I sit down with my dear friend Allie Beth Stuckey as we discuss her new book, ‘Toxic Empathy’. We discuss the various ways that one-sided emotional stories are used to promote progressive values on issues such as abortion, sexuality, gender, and immigration. 0:02.0	Toxic empathy is a tool of emotional manipulation into believing the progressive
0:08.3	perspective is the compassionate and loving one. It's sort of like who can outdo each other and being nice today and
0:14.2	niceness isn't always what's loving. The question has to be not how do you feel or
0:18.6	how does that person feel. It's not necessarily unimportant, but it's incomplete.
0:22.8	The question is what is true and what is right.
0:25.5	To decide that, you have to look at what is scientifically, factually true,

0:34.4	toxic empathy certainly on the left and I'm seeing it on the right. Trans women are
0:39.5	women is the same math as love is love because you're refusing to define what those things are.
0:44.8	It's just a secular mantra that can mean anything you want it to mean.
0:48.2	Adoption redeems an already broken situation where a surrogacy, ag selling, sperm selling creates that broken
0:55.4	situation.
0:56.4	It's a massive social experiment that has never been done before in the history of humanity.
1:00.5	This Christless secular conservative movement that we have at the end of the day
1:05.5	that's gonna wash away like everything else because it's not anchored.
