you can adopt a legalistic approach to anything and if you look at minimalism as a religion

where the fewer things I possess the better I am that's not minimalism that's legalism.

What is minimalism? Is that just a fancy modern word for aestheticism or for temperance?

I think of the words of St. Paul here who says, let us lay aside every weight and every

sin that doth so easily beset us. What's clutter for you may not be clutter for me and vice versa.

And minimalism is the willingness to sit with the following question.

How might my life be more with less?

Every single piece of advice is capable of making your life worse

and possibly even destroying it

if you don't think critically and creatively

about how it uniquely applies to your life.

How many people have a mentor that really knows them

and can work with them closely on the things I need to work on.

I'm also dying to hear how someone went from being the most unlikely person to become Catholic to here you are holding your rosary.

The church is not something that is dispensable.

It's not something that we can take this approach of saying, hey, give me the Jesus, but not the church.
