Hey everybody, hey everybody, everybody, welcome to another episode of this weekend startups.

And we are in the summer of the pandemic in 2020, it's August.

And while we're in this pandemic, which has been caused by COVID-19, or as the president likes to call it,

the China virus, we have an escalating issue, and it's one that's been boiling up for decades and you've heard

me ranting and raving about it on Twitter and even on this podcast that I think people are

crazy if they would ever put a woway router in their country or it's insane that people would

put tick-talk on their phones and not believe that the CCP, the Chinese Communist

Party, would have not have access to that.

And I've been heartbroken watching Hong Kong put up the fight of their lives and lose their lives and lose their freedom.

And at the same time, watching a bunch of entitled Americans and journalists trivialize the seriousness of this.

Not all, but many.

And people complaining that they're going to lose their follower count

on their Tik-Tog app.

And what will that mean the New York Times, these poor kids are going to lose it while

when I was growing up and I was in school and I worked for Amnesty International
