If you guys haven't noticed, I've been committed to the podcast probably well, I've been doing it for a couple of years now on and off.

Sometimes I'd go months without posting and since pretty much early December, I have been posting twice a week every Monday and Wednesday. So thank you guys.

I can see the numbers and the people hopping on here and listening to me talk about dogs with other people. So thank you guys so much.

This is a great podcast for anybody as you guys saw in the title for reactivity. This is a just I would call it like the dog reactivity blueprint.

I mean, this is something that we work on every single day with a lot of different dogs and this is just a dismantle of how do you where do you when do you start?

How do you start all that stuff on dog reactivity with a German Shepherd name Heidi. So I think this is going to be really helpful for you guys for anybody out there.

I think this is going to give you a lot of complexity and a different variation of what it is and what it means where it comes from and more importantly, how to overcome it and and help the dog.

Let's get into the podcast.

We have a three year old female German Shepherd. She's been fixed.

She adopted her as a rescue in November 2019. Her history that we were told was as a puppy, she was not socialized. She was kept in a crate in the garage.

We do to a divorce, etc. Until she was probably about, no, she was younger than a year. She was about, I want to say about seven months old, the grandparents took her.

They had two German shepherds. They couldn't handle her. Then she went into rescue for about four months and was fostered. And then we adopted her.

Okay. So yeah, she've been bounced around.

Yep. And so we've had German shepherds before, but Heidi is highly intelligent and is quite is a bit of a challenge for us. Her biggest issue that we have is Lisa, Lisa, aggression to other dogs walking.

Okay. When when people come over, she's excited, but she will calm down and accept them and ignore them in the house. The biggest problem is Lisa, aggression, trying to walk her.

Okay.

Her other issue is she is shadow obsessed.

Yeah, like a cat.
