0:36.8	what has happened in the last week. There has been some really bad news in the last
0:41.8	week, heartbreaking news, you know about it. It is the mass shootings.
0:47.6	There have been three of them. One of them thankfully only took the lives of a couple people but horrific to take the lives of any people.
0:56.0	That was in Gilroy, California.
0:59.0	Then there was a mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, which killed 22 people.
1:03.9	Horific.
1:05.1	And then the mass shooting, just hours later,
1:07.0	that same day or early the next morning, Sunday morning
1:09.4	at 1 a.m.
1:10.6	A shooter who killed nine people in Dayton, Ohio outside of a bar.
1:16.0	So really awful news.
1:17.9	The Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting really hit close to home for me because I am from that area. I'm from San
1:25.1	Jose originally. Gilroy is not far from there. I grew up going and visiting
1:29.2	Gilroy. I have friends who would go to the Gilroy Garlic Festival.
1:33.2	I actually had family members who were considering going to the Garlic Festival.
