Summary
2007 年的时候，孟宪臣发现除了维持生活，还多了一项开销：儿子二十多岁，该张罗着娶媳妇了，彩礼钱要筹备起来了。
但是老家赤峰连年干旱，种粮食的收入实在难维持生计，孟宪臣想，这时候来钱最快的方式，就是去煤矿挖煤了，便寻思着跟亲朋好友一道去北京房山区史家营乡的煤矿打工。
没成想，才挖了不过几天，便遭遇了一场一生难忘的劫难。
