First, everyone was feeling the love on Valentine's Day when Digital Radio UK came to the National Radio Centre at Bletchley Park to switch 1.8 million local radio listeners onto DAB across beds, hearts and bucks.

As the excitement was building, I spoke to Ford Ennells.

and we're the organisation responsible for developing and launching digital radio

so it's available throughout the UK.

So right now there are national services available in almost about 90% of the country.

But locally it's only available in about 60%.

So we're working with government to extend from 60% of the country to 90%

and there's a series of 13 area launches and this is the biggest single area launch

that's going to happen in the UK over the next three years.
