1:24.4	Tells the story of Elliot, a boy who befriends an extraterrestrial. He names E.T. Who's been stranded on Earth. Our guest today, Alana Massad, great friend of mine, great friend of the show, has been on the show before as an author, a fiction writer, an essayist, a book critic. Alana is the author of All My Mother's Lovers and The New Novel Beings. So, you know, I reached out to Alano and was like, hey, do you want to cover a movie that is, you know, interesting to you and that you love, but is also, uh, has a bit of overlap with the upcoming book. And Alana said, let's do ET. And I'm glad that we did. My co-host today is River Butcher, stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, podcaster, friend of the show.
