No, it's such an honor. You don't have no idea. I am such a huge fan of your work. You have

really put, you know, makeup on the map for women of color. I mean, I look at your work and I'm

just always stunned. But before I dive into all the ranting and braving, how much I love you,

I want you to tell us about everything. I want you to tell us about your whole journey,

because I know yourself taught and I know you've worked and climbed up from, you know,

just your own talent. So I want to learn everything about you.

I appreciate that. I mean, my story is, I don't know, it's a very short and simple one.

I think I just like to, I call myself an accidental makeup artist and I think I'm, you know,

maybe very similar to a lot of the listeners. Like I was just a woman, a single mom who was working

at a job feeling incredibly unfulfilled. But and also just not having a sense of purpose in

my existence. And it was during that experience where I was introduced to the world to beauty.

I was working at a publishing company and they published Black Hair magazines and I got a taste

of beauty then. They'd hire makeup artists and photographers to come and do the photo shoots
