| 1:26.0 | Elsa MD is kind of, you know, on the top of the game when it comes to everything SPF and you guys have such lovely products. So I would love to have you tell us how the brand really kind of came to fruition and how things really started. |
| 1:42.0 | Yeah, thanks for thanks for being a fan. I really think Elsa MD is such a special brand to be a part of and there's a really interesting story about how the brand got started and it was really the founder was an entrepreneur and he had gone to Switzerland and he actually discovered the initial product. |
| 2:11.0 | In the line, and it was a healing ointment that had been used and passed along through farmers and so he was able to work to bring that that product to the US to because you could see the healing benefits and properties of the product and work to bring it to the US market. |
| 2:33.0 | And then, you know, realize that there was an opportunity to further improve and develop the product and starting from the original healing cream, the brand. |
| 2:49.0 | He launched the brand called Elta Medical at the time and it was a medical wound feeling and skincare line that was actually dispensed and stolen in hospitals and medical facilities across the US. |
| 3:06.0 | I love that. Yeah, I mean, it definitely comes through as a medical brand because I mean, obviously the quality is really, really great. And I, you know, I'm very curious when brands that are so focused on like. |
| 3:18.0 | Just true skin health when they come out and they're so like popular, you know, in the normal consumer markets. |
| 3:25.0 | I would love to hear your take on that, especially since you are a marketing expert, like how that has been like the journey of getting people to understand, like, you know, just how science driven and, you know, at the core, how much science is at the core of Elta MD and like everything you guys create. |
| 3:41.0 | So I'd love for you to talk to us about how that's been marketing it to Gen Z marketing to millennials, you know, that kind of stuff. |
| 3:48.0 | Yeah, and I think it kind of goes back to the beginning. So it's been over 30 years that, you know, Elta, which is now Elta MD has been really creating this wonderful innovation. |
| 3:59.0 | And so moving from the wound care and skin care products and really having that expertise and that that heritage in healing really helped the team at the time to take that expertise and start to expand out. |
| 4:14.0 | It was in 1999. That's when the first Elta Elta sunscreen at the time was launched and I really think that the team was ahead of its time and, you know, zinc oxide was a key ingredient that was used in the very first sunscreen and talking about consumers and people today. |
| 4:38.0 | You know, definitely an ingredient that people love and seek and part of that not only the protection benefits that you can get from it. There's also, you know, as an ingredient, if there's so many wonderful healing properties of that. |
| 4:52.0 | And so when the from the original sunscreen, you know, later later on, the brand grew into Elta MD and the sunscreen that you know and love and the brand is known for today. |
| 5:08.0 | They were very and we like to call it cosmetically elegant. So the fact that you could have a sunscreen that gave you such good protection, but it was so wearable. |
| 5:22.0 | Yeah, that's. |
