Hello, my love, and welcome to their Shiro's podcast. This is your host, Jamie C. Welcome to another episode. This one is going to be slightly different from the other episodes. This one is kind of where all the truth is spilled. We're going to be telling some stories that have not been told. We're going to be sharing some words that are really, really important for a lot of

0:24.3

my people to hear. And a few things came through. There's a few things. We're just kind of

0:30.9

missing the cusp of national grief awareness week. We're only like, we're a couple days past it, but I feel like in lieu of grief week,

0:42.3

there's a few conversations we need to talk about.

0:46.2

So as many of you know, if you're new here, then you're going to find out just now.

0:50.6

But as many of you know, I'm a very honest person. I'm a very honest person when it comes to

have to kind of reach for to start your own thing and to continue to evolve

1:29.6

to get it to where you want to go because the majority of people that I connect with are

1:34.0

what I call the generational change makers. They're the ones that maybe felt like the black sheep

1:40.9

and their family, like they were just born with a little something fiery or rebellious or a little bit different.

1:46.9

Or maybe they were the rule follower.

1:49.0

And they always felt this need to this, this calling of like not truly being them.

1:56.5

How do I want to say this?

1:58.1

They felt this pressure to be something that they weren't just to feel

2:03.0

like they were accepted or loved in their family dynamic. But there were parts of themselves

2:07.5

that felt maybe not fully self-expressed. And the amount of bravery that it takes to be the generational changemaker in your family, not

2:20.8

just to open a business, but to change your lineage takes so much fucking heart and grit and

2:25.7

bravery and resilience that it's, it's unbelievable.
