We were just talking about Brandon Aubrey earlier, how they could have done Brandon

Aubrey months ago and for that exact same deal.

All parties would have accepted it, but they like this.

They like Brandon Aubrey's wife getting mad on Instagram.

They like fans talking back and forth.

They just like being in the news cycle.

And then Brandon gets done and they move on to the next one.

And then Ian Rappaport will tell you that they've been proactive with getting deals done in recent years, too.

That was an interesting tweet for sure.

I would say, I don't know, like I'm kind of torn on that on the whole.

I could have got it done at the same price, you know, whatever, a few months ago.

Todd France asked for who knows but I just find it hard to believe that with Todd

Francis's agent they were asking for seven all along and the Cowboys were like no we're not

going to come up to that I feel like at the very least they were probably asking for eight or

nine and I can see a world where Todd France is like,

we're not taking anything less than eight or nine. And then Brandon is like, no, no, I want to be here. Let's get this thing done. I don't want this going into training camp. You know, I don't know. We're going to talk to them later. Yeah, we're going to talk to him later on a conference call. and I'm sure he'll answer some of those questions.
