And that's why it kind of made me roll my eyes the other day when, or not the other day,

but a couple weeks ago, that end of season press conference where Jerry said the whole thing

about, well, I'm just, I'm trying to be the owner and general manager until I have the most

Super Bowls. Okay, Jerry, I don't have a life. You haven't said a word publicly in the last 15 years that I haven't heard. You're just coming up with that now. Like you would have said that. Yeah, if you were so driven to do that, right. Like all of a sudden now he just came up with this like buzz thing and he's going to really push real heavy into that.

So that's the new thing of why he'll never step down his GM. I'm just kind of like, if that was ever the thing, you would have said that a long time. Nothing's changed. Like, you know, the Patriots didn't just just get that sixth Super Bowl last week to put him over the top, you know? Like, I don't know. I just that is interesting.

He just says what he

wants to say to just whatever is that going to be that clever thing of of the moment and and he knows

we'll write and we'll talk about it and so he does it and i'm fine with that it just it would be nice

if it came with a little bit more you know winning in january so my theory on that why did he

start focusing on that around the mica time?

Because the mica time was coming up and he's hearing from people, sign this deal, it's the going

rate, and two years from now it's going to be 40 million more. Believe us.

Well, then he's like, yeah, but you told me that about Dak.

And he's still the highest paid player.

Not thinking the reason, like, the Cowboys put themselves in that position to allow Dak to negotiate himself into the highest contract.

They could have had him for much less had they.
