Up first is Josh Jacobs, who is 26, fresh off a four-year, $48 million contract with Green Bay as a free agent,

12.5 million of which is guaranteed. Jacobs claims that he chose not to sign with Kansas City,

Denver, Chicago, Arizona, Miami, New York Giants, and Houston. So clearly he had a lot of suitors.

The Beckers were his main preference. A.J. Dylan was placed placed on season-ending IR with a neck stinger that lingered from 2023 and a new hamstring injury, so that paves

an immediate path to workhorse volume in favor Jacobs. Rookie running back Marshawn Lloyd avoided

IR but is dealing with the hamstring ailment of his own, which paves a short-term path for

Emmanuel Wilson to function as RB2 behind Jacobs in the short-term. With that in mind,
