My name is Jack Lugo, and today I bring to you another episode of The Comics of Bond.

My guest is none other than Jeff Parker.

Jeff is the writer behind Bond Origin, a new series from Dynamite Comics.

For anyone not familiar with it, Bond Origin serves as a precursor to the Fleming books.

It's all about Bond's time in World War II. We get to see his initial recruitment into military

intelligence, as well as the very beginnings of Bond's naval career.

So this is, you know, an area of Bond's life that we as, you know, Fleming fans find

very fascinating because obviously Fleming did not leave too many details about it.

And Jeff has some very great insights into the world of Bond. I've already read the first

three issues of Bond origin, and I highly recommend it. So without further ado, here is

Thank you for being here.

Now, I'm really excited to interview because I know Bond origin goes into some territory

that a lot of us has speculated about, you know, Bond fans, especially those of us who

read the Fleming books, you know, there isn't that much there to mine in terms of, you know, bond service in World War II.

So I'm really excited to talk about that.
