As always, my name is Patrick, and I'm still here, but more importantly, you're still here.

I feel like I should have some speech ready for 100 episodes, but really I'll just echo what I

always say, which is I'm very grateful and humbled to be here

talking about bikes, the outdoors, and meeting rad people. It's a pretty sick gig, and I

couldn't do it without all your help. So 100 episodes isn't just for me. It's for all of y'all,

too. And let's do 100 more. I'm just getting

warmed up. It doesn't feel like it's already been 100 episodes. You kind of blink and, wow,

here we are. We got here faster than I think I realized we would, maybe. When I started the podcast,

I was hoping I could get just 100 people to listen,

and now we're at 100 episodes. So thanks to you for all your support. Thanks for being here.

And let's just get on with this episode. Now, if you listen to last week's episode, first off,

you may have noticed that my energy level was kind of low and I didn't

sound too hot. Well, that's because I had COVID. When I was recording the intro to last week's

episode, I was getting ready to hop in the car and drive up to Missouri to meet up with Hal Russell.

And then a couple days after that, I was supposed to do a live

podcast with the Lachugas. But that day when I was driving up to meet up with Hal, I didn't feel

too great. And obviously in the world we live in now, it's the responsible thing to do to get

tested. And because getting tested is so popular, actually, the reality is because the case numbers

are so high, so many people are needing to get tests, I couldn't find any rapid test.

So I called Hal, let them know what was going on, and we both agreed that I should prioritize finding a way to

get tested plus I was doing a live event just a couple days past that and you know for everybody's
