I am not here in any way to overreact to a single press conference.

I'm certainly not here to call a coach a failure after his first job or down the job.

An opening presser is exactly what it sounds like.

It's an opening presser.

Coaches are defined by their wins and their losses,

not by winning the intro presser.

We've seen countless examples of this.

As an example, ask coach rock paper scissors.

Let's see how competitive you are.

My man got worked in that presser by himself.

He worked himself.

He played himself.

I mean, you can't have a more weird, more disastrous intro than coach less thinking equals talent takeover.

The hell are you talking about?

He did play himself.

But, but look at Nick Siriani right now, about to coach in his second Super Bowl with a 53 and 23

and 23 overall record as the Eagles head coach.

So he obviously survived that horrible first day.

Now, sometimes a dude shows up with crazy eyes rolling all around his skull and looks shady as hell.

And then proceeds to go 9 and 23 and then gets capped after two years.

Adam Gase would have looked more normal at the Jets opening presser if he had taped a couple of those
